Calder Way Project Update June 2, 2026

Calder Way Improvement Project Phase 2 Update:

The Borough of State College is writing to provide you with the latest updates regarding Phase 2 of the Calder Way Improvement Project.

Beginning Tuesday, June 2, a one-lane restriction will be in place along South Atherton Street as the contractor continues installing sanitary sewer lines. On Tuesday, one northbound lane will be restricted, allowing traffic to continue northbound with one lane and southbound with two lanes.

On Wednesday, June 3, the contractor will restrict the two northbound lanes. The two southbound lanes will turn to one lane north and one south. This restriction will be in place on Wednesday, June 3, and Thursday, June 4. Flaggers and traffic-control signage will be in place during this time.
