Charlene A. Friedman is the Chief Financial Officer and has primary responsibility for developing the firm's property management policies, procedures, and the delivery of its services. She serves as Broker of Record, holding the license in Pennsylvania for Industrial-Commercial Realty, LLC, the commercial, brokerage, and management division of Friedman Real Estate Group. Under Charlene’s mentorship, the ICR, LLC team is focused on serving its clients. The team strives to be effective communicators and to sustain solid investment returns for the properties held within the portfolio.

Prior to her affiliation with Friedman Real Estate Group, Mrs. Friedman was first an educator who took her passion for teaching into the realm of real estate practioners and the community. She taught Property Management courses at Penn State University, State College Community Education Program and PAR.. She has taught Professional Standards for Property Management for Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® 

Mrs. Friedman received a BS from Seton Hall University and has done post graduate study at the University of Oregon and  Penn State University. She has acquired several real estate designations including a Certified Property Manager (CPM) of the Institute of Real Estate Management and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. She has met the requirements and been awarded multiple other residential designations to include: Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) of the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council, Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist (RECS) of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society, as well as the At Home with Diversity: One America Certification of the National Association of Realtors. She is a Past President of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter 96 of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and was a recipient of the Certified Property Manager of the Year. Charlene has previously served on the Centre County Housing Authority Advisory Commission. She served as President of the Downtown State College Partnership and was instrumental in transforming the former partnership into an assessment district (DID) . In addition to having been President of the Centre County Association of REALTORS®, she was also President of Chapter 96 of IREM. In January of 2000 she was honored as the Centre County REALTOR® of the Year.

Outside of the office, Charlene is a seeker of knowledge and is currently working toward her 500 Hour Power Yoga certification with Princeton Power Yoga.
